Muhammad Habibur Rahman (1928-2014) was a Bangladeshi jurist and scholar who served briefly as Chief Justice of Bangladesh in 1995 and then as Chief Adviser heading the country's caretaker government in 1996, overseeing that year's general election. Beyond the bench he compiled the first Bengali-language thesaurus, Jathashabdo, promoted the use of Bengali in the Supreme Court, and had taken part in the 1952 Bengali Language Movement.
