Mohamed Bennouna, born 29 April 1943 in Marrakesh, is a Moroccan diplomat and jurist educated at the University of Nancy, the Sorbonne, and the Hague Academy of International Law, earning a doctorate in 1972. He served as Morocco's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2001 to 2006, as a professor at Mohammed V University, as a judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia from 1998 to 2001, and as a judge of the International Court of Justice from 6 February 2006 to 6 February 2024.
