Michael Myers (1873-1950) was a New Zealand jurist who served as the sixth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand from 1929 to 1946, and the first Jewish person to hold the position. Born in Motueka, he earned his law degree from Canterbury College in 1897 and was admitted to the Inner Temple. Beyond the bench, he took part in the 1945 San Francisco conference that founded the United Nations and helped draft the International Court of Justice's constituent statute. He was appointed King's Counsel in 1922 and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George in 1937, and died in Wellington in 1950.

He was the first Jew to hold this position. He sat on the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in 1936.
