Max Rheinstein (1899-1977) was a German-born American jurist and political scientist who taught for decades at the University of Chicago Law School and became a leading figure in comparative law in the United States. He edited and introduced Max Weber writings on law and economy to English-language readers and published extensively on comparative marriage and divorce law.
