Mark Steven Ellis, born in 1957, is an international criminal law attorney who has served as executive director of the International Bar Association since 2000. He earlier led the American Bar Association Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative from 1989 to 2000 and served as legal adviser to the Independent International Commission on Kosovo in 1999 and 2000. He holds a doctorate in international law from King's College London earned in 2010 and a law degree from Florida State University, and has chaired the CEELI Institute Management Board.
