Majida Rizvi is a Pakistani jurist who became the first woman appointed a judge of a High Court in Pakistan, sitting on the Sindh High Court. She built a career practicing before Pakistan's High Courts and Supreme Court and taught law at Hamdard School of Law, writing on the legal rights of women and children and working with organizations opposing discrimination against women. After retiring from the Sindh High Court she went on to chair the Sindh Human Rights Commission, continuing her focus on women's and children's rights and broader human rights advocacy.
