Lucius Lucilius Balbus was a Roman jurist of the Lucilia gens who lived in the 1st century BC and was one of the legal instructors of the eminent jurist Servius Sulpicius Rufus. Cicero is reported to have described the Balbus brothers as Stoics, though later scholarship debates whether that description applied to Lucius the jurist or was instead confused with his brother Quintus, who was explicitly a Stoic philosopher.
