Lalit Mohan Sharma (1928 to 2008) was the twenty-fourth Chief Justice of India, serving for about three months from November 1992 to February 1993. The son of L. N. Sinha, who served as Attorney General of India, he practiced law at the Patna High Court from 1950, became a judge there in 1973, and joined the Supreme Court of India in 1987.
