Joanna Korner is a British judge of the International Criminal Court who assumed office on 11 March 2021. Born on 1 July 1951, she began her legal career as a barrister in 1974 and took silk as Queen Counsel in 1993. From 1999 to 2004 she served as a senior prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, work for which she was appointed CMG in 2004. She was elected to the ICC in December 2020 for a nine-year term.
