Jesús Requejo San Román, who lived from February 22, 1880 to August 16, 1936, was a Spanish jurist, notary and property registrar. He earned a doctorate in administrative law from the University of Salamanca in 1906 with a dissertation on Roman divorce law, then worked as an attorney in his native Puebla de Sanabria before becoming a notary and property registrar, a post that took him to Madridejos in 1924. He published on real estate and agrarian law policy in specialized legal periodicals and was elected to the Spanish Cortes in 1936 as a Carlist deputy. He was executed at Los Yébenes in August 1936 during the Spanish Civil War.
