Jacob Milborne, who lived from around 1648 to May 16, 1691, was an English-born clerk and legal officer in the colonial Province of New York. He served as Attorney General of New York from 1690 to 1691 and also held the offices of clerk to the provincial council and advocate general, after earlier working as a clerk and bookkeeper for a New York merchant. He was the son-in-law and close associate of Jacob Leisler, leader of the populist uprising known as Leisler's Rebellion, and was arrested, tried for murder and treason, and executed by hanging and beheading alongside Leisler on May 16, 1691, months after marrying Leisler's daughter Mary.
