Ibn Abd al-Hakam, in full Abu al-Qasim Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdallah ibn Abd al-Hakam, was a Sunni Muslim historian and jurist from Fustat, Egypt, who lived from 801 to 871. He wrote a work known as The Conquest of Egypt and North Africa and al-Andalus, considered one of the earliest surviving Arabic language Islamic histories.
