Galo Chiriboga is an Ecuadorian lawyer, politician and administrator who has served as president of the Asociacion Interamericana de Juristas, the Inter-American Association of Jurists. He held the posts of Minister of Labor, Minister of Government and president of Petroecuador during the administration of Alfredo Palacio, and Minister of Petroleum and Mines under Rafael Correa, becoming known as Ecuador's Oil Minister. In 2011 he became Attorney General of Ecuador. He has been linked to the offshore law firm Mossack Fonseca and the Panama Papers scandal.
