Sir Frederick Pollock, 3rd Baronet lived from December 10, 1845 to January 18, 1937 and was an English jurist best known for his History of English Law before the Time of Edward I, written with Frederic William Maitland, and for his lifelong correspondence with United States Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. He was a member of the Cambridge Apostles.
