Frederick Allan Hartley Jr. lived from February 22, 1902 to May 11, 1969 and was an American politician from New Jersey. A member of the Republican Party, he served ten terms in the United States House of Representatives, representing New Jersey's 8th and 10th congressional districts. He is best known as the House of Representatives sponsor of the Taft-Hartley Act.
