Francesco Ferrara (1877 to 1941) was an Italian civil law scholar who wrote extensively on contract theory, the nature of unlawful acts in Italian civil law, and succession law. His works include Teoria dei contratti and Teoria del negozio illecito nel diritto civile italiano, and he was a member of the Academy of Sciences of Turin.
