Ernestine Kawai Rengiil is a lawyer from Palau, the first woman lawyer in the country and the first Palauan woman to serve as Attorney General. She was admitted to the bar in Hawaii in 1987 and entered the Palau Bar Association the same year. She served as Attorney General of Palau from 1992 to 1993 under President Ngiratkel Etpison, and again from 2009 to 2013 under President Johnson Toribiong, before being re-appointed to the post in February 2017.
