Emmanuelle Jouannet, full name Emmanuelle Tourme-Jouannet, born in 1962, is a French professor of international law at Sciences Po School of Law, a position she has held since 2014 after previously teaching at Sorbonne University. Her scholarship covers international law, international dispute resolution, human rights, international humanitarian law, and the history and philosophy of law, including work on the eighteenth century jurist Emer de Vattel influence on modern international law. She co-edits the Journal of the History of International Law, sits on the editorial board of the European Journal of International Law, and has served on the Academic Council of the Harvard Institute for Global Law and Policy since 2010.
