Elizabeth Gwaunza, born 15 June 1953, is a Zimbabwean lawyer and jurist who has served as Chief Justice of Zimbabwe since May 2026, appointed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Admitted as a legal practitioner in 1987 and one of the first two black women to graduate as law students in Zimbabwe, she served as a High Court judge from 1998, a Supreme Court justice from 2002, and Deputy Chief Justice from 2018.
