Sir Edward Aloysius McTiernan (1892 to 1990) was an Australian lawyer and politician who became a Justice of the High Court of Australia, serving for nearly 46 years from 1930 to 1976, the longest tenure of any judge in the court's history. Before his judicial career he had been Attorney-General of New South Wales and briefly represented the Division of Parkes in federal parliament.
