Ebru Gunay (born 1982) is a Kurdish jurist and politician from Turkey who earned her law degree from Dicle University in 2006 and a masters degree in human rights law from Istanbul Bilgi University. She practiced law at the Asrin Law Firm, where she took part in defense cases including that of Abdullah Ocalan, was arrested in 2009 during an investigation into the Kurdistan Communities Union and acquitted by the Supreme Court of Appeals of Turkey in 2019, and was elected to the Turkish parliament in 2018 representing Mardin for the Peoples Democratic Party, for which she also serves as spokeswoman.
