John Dyson Heydon (born 1943) is an Australian former judge who served on the High Court of Australia from 2003 to 2013, appointed by Prime Minister John Howard, and became known as a conservative jurist who opposed judicial activism. After leaving the court he chaired the Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption from 2014 to 2015.
