Darian Pavli is an Albanian human rights lawyer born on 7 April 1975 in Vlore. He worked as a senior attorney for the OSCE in Tirana from 1998 to 2000 while lecturing in constitutional law, then as a researcher on human rights in Southeast Europe for Human Rights Watch from 2001 to 2003 and as a senior attorney at the Open Society Justice Initiative from 2003 to 2015, litigating cases before international courts. He advised Albania's Special Parliamentary Committee on Justice Reform in 2015, directed Open Society Foundations programs in Albania from 2016 to 2017, served as a Council of Europe human rights law expert from 2017 to 2018, and was elected Albania's judge at the European Court of Human Rights effective 7 January 2019.
