Cassandra Goldie is an Australian lawyer and academic who has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council of Social Service since 2010 and is an adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales. She holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Laws from University College London, and before leading ACOSS she worked as director of Sex and Age Discrimination at the Australian Human Rights Commission and in senior roles with Legal Aid in Western Australia. In 2023 she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for service to social justice through advocacy for people who are marginalised and disadvantaged.
