Awn Shawkat Al-Khasawneh, born in 1950, is a Jordanian jurist and diplomat who served as a Judge of the International Court of Justice from 2000 to 2011 and as its Vice President from 2006 to 2009. He held senior legal posts in Jordan Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the 1980s, served as legal adviser to Jordan delegation during the Israel-Jordan peace negotiations of the early 1990s, and later became Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court under King Hussein. After leaving the ICJ he served briefly as the thirty ninth Prime Minister of Jordan, from October 2011 to May 2012.
