Artemio Villasenor Panganiban Jr., born 1937 in Manila, is a Filipino jurist who served as the twenty first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 2005 to 2007. He joined the Supreme Court as an associate justice in 1995 and authored more than a thousand full length decisions and ten books during his judicial career, and has continued to write on justice and governance since retiring.
