Ar-Rabi ibn Sulayman al-Muradi was an Egyptian Muslim jurist and hadith scholar, and one of the foremost transmitters of the works and teachings of Imam al-Shafii. He is considered among the most important early authorities of the Shafii school of jurisprudence, since much of al-Shafiis later legal doctrine survives only through his own narrations of it.
