Apollodorus was a Graeco-Roman jurist of the fifth century AD, one of the scholars appointed by the emperor Theodosius II to compile the Codex Theodosianus. He held the offices of comes and magister memoriae in 429 and comes sacri consistorii in 435 and 438, and may also have served as comes rei privatae under the emperors Arcadius and Honorius around 396 and as proconsul of Africa around 399 to 400. Several letters from the Roman senator Quintus Aurelius Symmachus were addressed to him.
