Anna Adamska-Gallant is a Polish lawyer with more than 20 years of legal experience, including 17 years as a domestic judge in Poland and, from 2013 to 2018, as an international judge in the Balkans trying cases of war crimes and crimes against humanity from the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia. She lectured at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroclaw and earned her doctorate in law there in 2022. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe elected her as Polands judge at the European Court of Human Rights by absolute majority for a nine-year term, and she has served as national judge for Poland since 16 December 2024.
