Ali Fuat Basgil (1893 to 1967) was a Turkish jurist and constitutional law scholar who served as dean of the law faculty at Istanbul University from 1938 to 1942 and dean of the faculty of political science at Ankara University from 1942 to 1943, specializing in Roman law and constitutional theory. He advised on the legal status of Hatay before the League of Nations in 1937, was dismissed from his academic posts after the 1960 military coup, and afterward served as a senator and, from 1965, a member of parliament for the Justice Party.
