Alexios Aristenos was a twelfth century Byzantine canonist who served as oikonomos and nomophylax of the Great Church at Constantinople. He was present at the Council of Constantinople around 1166. He compiled a Synopsis Canonum with his own scholia, a systematic digest of church canons with commentary that was later published by Bishop William Beveridge in his Pandectae Canonum in 1672.
