Al-Hattab, in full Muhammad Abu Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Tarabulsi al-Hattab al-Ruyani, was a sixteenth century Muslim jurist from Tripoli, honored in Islamic scholarship as Imam al-Hattab.
