Al-Halimi, in full Abu Abdallah al-Halimi al-Qadi al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Halim al-Bukhari al-Jurjani al-Shafi'i, was a highly influential Sunni scholar regarded as the foremost jurist, hadith traditionist, and theologian in Transoxiana during his time. He was a hadith master who produced significant works, a prominent figure of the Shafi'i school of law, and one of the early Ash'ari theologians.
