Al-Damiri, the common name of Kamal al-Din Muhammad ibn Musa al-Damiri, was an Egyptian Shafii Sunni scholar, jurist, traditionist, theologian and expert in Arabic who lived from 1341 to 1405 in late medieval Cairo.
