Aishath Bisam is a Maldivian jurist and lawyer who rose through the country's Attorney General's Office, appointed Deputy Solicitor General in March 2011 under President Mohamed Nasheed and Deputy Attorney General in March 2012 under President Mohamed Waheed Hassan, before becoming Attorney General herself on April 10, 2013. She went on to serve as special advisor to the president and Legal Affairs Secretary at the President's Office, and in November 2015 was approved as Prosecutor General of the Maldives, a position from which she resigned in November 2019 after surviving a February 2018 motion of no confidence over delayed enforcement of a Supreme Court decision.
