Fyodor Ivanovich Kozhevnikov, who lived from March 15, 1903, to March 22, 1998, was a Soviet jurist and legal scholar who specialized in international law and served as dean of the Faculty of Law at Moscow State University during the Second World War. He represented the Soviet Union at the International Law Commission from 1952 to 1953, and his scholarship examined the place of international law in Russian history. He served as a judge of the International Court of Justice from November 28, 1953, to 1961, succeeding Sergey Golunsky and being succeeded by Vladimir Koretsky, and he also served as a judge of the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
