Robert Spano is an Icelandic jurist who has served as judge of the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Iceland since November 2013, and as President of the Court from 18 May 2020 to 31 October 2022, the youngest President in the Court history at his election. He was previously Dean of the Law Faculty at the University of Iceland.
