Markiyan Kulyk is a Ukrainian jurist and diplomat who has served as a judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea since 2011. He spent three decades in Ukraine's foreign service, including as legal adviser at Ukraine's mission to the United Nations and as Ukraine's ambassador to Romania from 2008 to 2011. His scholarship addresses continental shelf delimitation and the Tribunal's jurisprudence on marine environmental protection.
