Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals

The Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals is one of twelve intermediate appellate courts of the Ohio state court system, with jurisdiction over five counties in northeastern Ohio: Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Portage and Trumbull. It hears appeals from the lower courts of those counties from final appealable orders, and functions as the ultimate decision-maker in most such cases, since the Ohio Supreme Court accepts only a limited number of further appeals each year.
