Binding health rules made by an international organization and applied by states inside their own law, chiefly the International Health Regulations of the World Health Organization on managing the international spread of disease. A regulation belongs here when its cited article describes a health or safety instrument adopted by an international body and not by one national legislature. It excludes the American statutes on drugs, medical records and product safety and the statutes on employment rights and pensions, which sit in their own groups.
