International Court of Justice Judges: Latin America and the Caribbean

International Court of Justice Judges: Latin America and the Caribbean gathers the judges of the International Court of Justice who sit as members representing the Latin American and Caribbean regional group in the United Nations' own practice for electing the court, one of the five regional groups this parent group is split into because the International Court of Justice has sat continuously since 1946 with a bench that has always reflected every major region of the world. Its members include jurists from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Guyana, drawn from across the region's civil law and common law jurisdictions alike.
