The Supreme Court of the Republic of the Congo, the Cour suprême of Brazzaville, is named first among the courts through which the 2015 Constitution says judicial power is exercised, ahead of the Courts of Appeal and the other national jurisdictions. Its members and the magistrates of the other national jurisdictions are appointed by the President of the Republic by decree in the Superior Council of the Magistrature, and its First President, its Procurator General, its Vice President and its First Advocate General are members by right of that Council. The member page of the association of francophone supreme courts gives its postal address at Brazzaville, names Henri Bouka as President since March 2018 and lists Law No 17-99 of 15 April 1999 on its organization and functioning.
