The Supreme Civil and Criminal Court of Greece, known in Greek as the Areios Pagos, is Greece supreme court for civil and criminal law, established in 1834 and seated in Athens. It is composed of a president, an attorney general, ten vice presidents, sixty five areopagites and seventeen deputy attorneys general, with judges subject to a mandatory retirement age of sixty seven.
