The largest trial court in Washington State, established in 1889 for King County, seated at the King County Courthouse in Seattle. On December 18, 2003, King County Superior Court Judge Richard A. Jones sentenced Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer, to 48 consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole under a plea agreement.
