The Court of Appeal of Tuvalu is established by the Constitution and is constituted as an Act of Parliament provides. It has jurisdiction to determine appeals from decisions of the High Court, and any original jurisdiction that Parliament may grant. The World Factbook archive says that it consists of the chief justice and not fewer than three appeals judges, and that appeals beyond the Court of Appeal are heard by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London, which the Constitution reflects in allowing an appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal to the Sovereign in Council in specified cases. Tuvalu therefore has its own court of appeal and also shares an external final court in the Privy Council.
