The Constitutional Court of Albania is the highest authority in the country's legal system on constitutional questions. It was founded on 29 April 1992 and began to operate on 1 June 1992, when its first judges swore their oath before the President. It rules on the compatibility of laws and unratified international agreements with the Constitution.
