New York City Rules

Administrative and Municipal Codes

The Rules of the City of New York (RCNY) is the official compilation of the rules and regulations issued by New York City government agencies, containing approximately 6,000 rules across 71 titles, one for each city agency. The Corporation Counsel of New York City is the compilation's author, American Legal Publishing produces the official printed edition, and new and amended rules are first published in the City Record, the city's official government gazette, before being folded into the compilation.
