The Permanent Arbitration Court is an arbitration tribunal between the league association Die Liga - Fussballverband and the German Football Association on one side, and the clubs or corporations involved in the Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga on the other, resolving disputes over league admission and club sanctions arising from German football governance; appeals from its decisions go to the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt. It is a distinct national sporting tribunal, unrelated to the international Permanent Court of Arbitration seated in The Hague.
