High Court of Jerusalem

The High Court, known in French as the Haute cour, was the feudal council of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the crusader state established after the First Crusade. It was sometimes also called the curia generalis, the curia regis, or, more rarely, the parlement, reflecting its role as the assembly through which the kingdom vassal lords advised, judged, and at times constrained the king.
