The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York is the federal bankruptcy court within the Southern District of New York, hearing bankruptcy cases arising in Manhattan and the surrounding district. The court sits primarily at the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House in Manhattan, with additional courthouses in White Plains and Poughkeepsie, New York.
